Toralv Maurstad (born 24 November 1926 in Bærum, Norway, death 04 November 2022) was a famous Norwegian actor of stage, screen and television. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London in 1949. His only American movie appearance was starring in the 1970 box office and critical disaster Song of Norway. He was thought as perhaps the greatest interpreter of Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt, having played the part numerous times.[1]
