Vernon Adair Benson (September 19, 1924 – January 20, 2014) was an American baseball player. He was an infielder/outfielder, coach, scout and interim manager in American Major League Baseball.
Benson died on January 20, 2014 in Granite Quarry, North Carolina from natural causes at the age of 89.[1]
