Viju Khote (17 December 1941 – 30 September 2019) was an Indian actor. He was known for his work in more than 300 movies in Hindi and Marathi cinema. He was known for his role as Kalia in the movie Sholay.[2][3] He also starred as Robert in movie Andaz Apna Apna and on the television series Zabaan Sambhalke (1993).[4] He had also acted in Marathi theatre over the years.[5] He was born in Bombay.
Khote died on 30 September 2019 at his Mumbai home due to multiple organ failure at the age of 77.[6]
