William Harold Greider (August 6, 1936 – December 25, 2019) was an American journalist and author. He wrote mainly about economics.[1] He was national affairs correspondent for The Nation. He also wrote for the Rolling Stone magazine during the 1980s and 1990s, and worked as an on-air correspondent for Frontline on PBS.

Greider died at his home in Washington, D.C. from congestive heart failure-related problems, aged 83, on December 25, 2019.[1]
