Membranipora membranacea[1][4][5][6][7] är en mossdjursart som först beskrevs av Carl von Linné den yngre 1767. Membranipora membranacea ingår i släktet Membranipora och familjen Membraniporidae.[8][9][10] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[10] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten M. m. acutispina.[8]
