Tromatobia ovivora[18] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Karl Henrik Boheman 1821. Tromatobia ovivora ingår i släktet Tromatobia och familjen brokparasitsteklar.[19][20][21] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[21] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[19]
