அலெக்சாந்தர் சாந்தி தோம் (Alexander Sandy Thom) (26 மார்ச்சு 1894 – 7 நவம்பர் 1985) ஒரு இசுகாட்டியப் பொறியாளரும் தொல்வானியலாளரும் ஆவார் இவரது பெருங்கற்கால முற்றம் எனும் கோட்பாடு மிகவும் பெயர்பெற்ற கற்காலம் சார்ந்த கோட்பாடாகும். இக்கோட்பாடு கல்வட்டங்களின் வகைமைகளையும் கல்கட்டமைப்புகள் அமைந்த தொல்லியல் களங்களின் கோட்பாடுகளையும் விளக்குகிறது.^[1]
