பக்கர்வால் மக்கள் (Bakarwal or Bakkarwal, Bakharwal, Bakrawala and Bakerwal) குஜ்ஜர் மக்களின் உட்பிரிவாகும்.[2] பக்கர்வால் மக்கள் இந்தியாவில் ஜம்மு காஷ்மீர், லடாக், இமாச்சலப் பிரதேசம், உத்தராகண்டம், மற்றும் பாகிஸ்தானின் கைபர் பக்துன்வா மாகாணம், ஆப்கானித்தானின் நூரிஸ்தான் மாகாணம் மற்றும் குனர் மாகாணங்களின் இமயமலைப் பகுதிகளில் வாழ்கின்றனர்.[3][4][5] பெரும்பான்மையான பக்கர்வால் மக்கள் இசுலாமும் மற்றும் சிறுபான்மையாக இந்து சமயம் பயில்கின்றனர். இந்தியாவில் மட்டும் 1991-ஆம் ஆண்டில் பக்கர்வால் மக்களை பட்டியல் பழங்குடியினர் வகுப்பில் வைத்துள்ளனர்.[5][6][7]இமயமலையின் பிர் பாஞ்சல் மலைத்தொடர் முதல் லடாக் வரை நாடோடி வாழ்க்கை நடத்தும் பக்கர்வால் மக்களின் முக்கியத் தொழில் புல்வெளிகளில் ஆடுகள் மேய்ப்பதே ஆகும்.
