پاکستان میں سائنٹولوجی

کہا جاتا ہے کہ پاکستان میں سائنٹولوجی یا سائنس مت کی بہت ہی کم لوگوں میں پیروی ہیں، جن میں زیادہ تعداد کراچی میں درمیانے اور امیر طبقے کے افراد کی ہے۔[1][2]

چرچ آف سائنٹولوجی

کراچی کے علاقے گلشن اقبال میں واقع ڈایانیٹکس مرکز برائے ذاتی بہتری کا الحاق "چرچ آف سائنٹولوجی ہے"۔ یہ مرکز، تعارفی کورسز، انفرادی مشاورت اور زندگی کو بہتر بنانے کے کورسز کرواتا ہے۔[3]

سائنٹولوجی سے وابستہ تنظیمیں

ملک میں سائنٹولوجی سے وابستہ کئی تنظیمیں سرگرم عمل ہیں۔ ”انجمنِ نوجوانان برائے تعلیمِ انسانی حقوق“ (YTHRE)، جس کی وابستگی انسانی حقوق کی بین الاقوامی تنظیم سے ہے، انسانی حقوق کی تعلیم کے فروغ پر کام کرتی ہے اور اس نے ہزاروں شرکاء کی کردار سازی کے لیے نشستیں کروائی ہیں۔[4][5] سائنٹولوجی برادری کے زیر اہتمام چلنے والی مجلس برائے بہتریٔ صحت و تعلیم و ماحولیات (SAHEE) کے "Criminon Program" (جرائم کی بیخ کنی کا منصوبہ) کو پاکستانی جیلوں کے 1,500 قیدیوں کی بحالی کے لیے استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔ 12,000 سے زائد پولیس افسران نے بھی ان نشستوں سے استفادہ کیا ہے۔[6][7][8] سائنٹولوجی کے بانی ایل رون ہبرڈ کے تیار کردہ اسٹدی ٹیک (Study Tech) تدریسی طریقۂ کار کو پاکستانی اسکولوں میں اپنایا گیا ہے۔ اس منصوبے کے لیے عملی معلمین نے بہت سے اساتذہ کو تربیت دی ہے۔[9][10][11] سائنٹولوجی برادری کے تحت چلنے والی تنظیموں نے قدرتی آفات کے دوران میں کئی امدادی کاموں میں بھی حصہ لیا ہے۔[12][13]
