史蒂芬·巴雷特（英語：Stephen Joel Barrett，/ˈbærɪt/，1933年—），是一名美国精神科醫師、作家、美国全国反医疗诈骗咨委会共同创始人、伪医学观察主编。他从事揭发批评庸医与健康欺诈行动，并致力于消费者保护、醫學倫理、科学质疑。
生平
[编辑]1957年，巴雷特毕业于哥伦比亚大学整形外科学院，并在1961年完成精神病学的驻院实习。1967年至1968年，他在位于芝加哥的拉萨尔扩展大学学习了美国法律及程序的函授课程[3]。之后他担任从业医生，直至1993年退休[4]。之后他离开宾夕法尼亚州艾伦镇，迁居至北卡罗莱纳州教堂山[5]。
除了在经营自己的网站外，巴雷特也是全国反医疗诈骗咨委会共同创始人、副主席、董事；他也担任美国科学与健康协会的科学顾问、怀疑性探究委员会成员。1987年至1989年，他还在宾夕法尼亚州立大学教授健康教育课程。
