德米特里·曼努埃爾·米哈拉斯（英語：Dimitri Manuel Mihalas，1939年3月20日—2013年11月21日），希臘裔美國天文學家，主要研究領域是恆星大氣層，生於洛杉磯[1][2]。

學經歷

米哈拉斯於1959年獲得加州大学洛杉矶分校物理、數學與天文學學士學位。之後分別於1960和1963年獲得加州理工學院物理與天文學博士學位。獲得博士學位後曾任職於普林斯頓大學、芝加哥大學、科羅拉多大學波德分校、伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校、美國國家大氣研究中心等單位。1981到1998年間擔任洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室顧問[3]。

米哈拉斯42歲時獲選為美國國家科學院院士，是獲選時較年輕者[4]。

研究

米哈拉斯是計算天文物理學的先驅，並且是輻射傳輸、輻射流體力學、定量天文光譜分析居世界領導地位的專家[4]。

個人生活
