Alley Hunter is a four-star weapon that can only get in the Weapon Wish Event. Since it is featured on Phase 1 of this version's Epitome Invocation until July 25, 2023. Here is the description as well as other information regarding this weapon.
An intricate, opulent longbow. It once belonged to a gentleman thief who was never caught.
Description
This fine bow has been painted black, all the better to blend perfectly into the deepest night.
This was once the first choice of an opulent noble house in their hunting games.
Till one day, it fell into the hands of a gentleman thief who was never caught.
Its user shot the crowns from the heads of nobles in utter silence.
It shot through many a tightened bond and disarmed many a pursuing soldier.
It once vowed to bring light to a darkened age.
To bring justice, riches, and gladness to the oppressed.
In the past, he did indeed bring justice, riches, and gladness to the oppressed, and he brought fear unto those in power, giving them countless sleepless nights in their impotent rage.
He brought light footsteps like rain to the roofs and terraces, and he brought the song to the bards in the squares.
He even once pried a sapphire from a noble's regalia to give to a blue-eyed witch, who hunted the vile with the spear in hand.
But even to the last, he was unable to bring a single smile to the lips of the witch whom his soul loved, who was as cold as the sapphire he gave her.
In the end, seeking death, her flower-like face was marked with a criminal's brand, and none knew where she went thereafter.
Abandoning his vow, he sailed into the ocean that belonged to no one.
"Pray tell, does she still recall my song? Does she remember those years that pursue me even now, of the wine-scented streets and the songs sung of her?"
Weapon Details
As of this writing, Alley Hunter boasts the highest Base ATK on all four-star bows. The high Base ATK is great for dealing damage against the enemies, either from your Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, or even your Normal Attacks. Its ATK% substat may not be the highest in the game, but it complements the high Base ATK you can get on this weapon.
Its passive ability, Oppidan Ambush, is great on bow characters that have an Off-field DPS role that can easily do damage even without any on-field time. With its passive and its main stats, it is a great complement to any DPS or Sub-DPS bow characters.
As of version 3.8, the characters can use this weapon as follows. Note that it may be added, but it was limited due to the constraints of the template.
Fischl
This is a great weapon for Fischl since his Off-field and On-field roles can use all the stats that this weapon provides. Since the stacks it obtains from its passive are easy to obtain, it becomes one of the staple weapons for Fischl. With higher refinement ranks, it can be comparable to all five-star bows you can use on her.
Kujou Sara
Kujou Sara excels as a support for your team, buffing the ATK of her teammate, making it one of the strongest ATK buffers in the game. It would help if you had a high Base ATK weapon because she works similarly to Bennett regarding ATK buffing. At higher refinements, this is one of the best four-star weapons for her.
Ganyu
If you plan to use Ganyu as your Off-field DPS, one of the roles you can use on her can be your best weapon of choice due to its high Base ATK, decent ATK%, and the passive that works on her.
Aloy
A nearly-forgotten character in Genshin Impact and Horizon Zero Dawn, this weapon provides a helpful stat to increase Aloy's damage.
Venti
The Anemo Archon can use this weapon as an Off-field DPS. Its passive is almost active in a quick-swap team, letting him take advantage of the sizable damage it can get from its passive.
