56 Days is an upcoming American erotic thriller television series developed by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher and is based on Catherine Ryan Howard's novel of the same name. The series is executive produced by James Wan for Amazon Prime Video and stars Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia.

The series is scheduled to premiere on February 18, 2026, and will consist of eight episodes.

Premise

Oliver Kennedy and Ciara Wyse start an intense relationship after meeting in a supermarket but police fear it has ended in murder after an unidentifiable body is found.[2]

Production

The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Atomic Monster and was commissioned in December 2023.[4] The series is written and executive-produced by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher. James Wan is one of the executive producers, along with Michael Clear and Rob Hackett at Atomic Monster.[5] Nathan Barr composed the score for the series.[6]

In May 2024, Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia were cast in the lead roles of Ciara Wyse and Oliver Kennedy.[7] In June 2024, Megan Peta Hill, Dorian Missick, Karla Souza, Patch Darragh, Kira Guloien, Celeste Oliva, Jesse James Keitel and Matt Murray joined the cast.[8]

Filming took place in Montreal in June 2024.[9]

Release

The series will be released on February 18, 2026 with all eight episodes, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.[3]
