Design.com is an online graphic design platform that offers AI design tools to create logo designs, websites, business cards, social media posts, presentations, QR codes and other types of designs.[1] Design.com offers over 50 design tools,[2] including AI design tools,[3] an AI logo generator,[3] an AI website generator,[3] an AI business card generator,[3] and an AI business name generator[3]. Design.com offers access to over 500,000 design templates in its design template library.[1] Design.com is built on a freemium business model,[3] and also offers subscriptions to give access to its full platform and template library.[4][1]

Design.com's monthly visitors in October 2025 were 5.59 million, making it the 8,390th most visited website in the USA in October 2025, according to data from Semrush.[5]

TechRadar listed Design.com in its article "Best logo maker of 2025: We tested the best tools to build your brand online", labeling Design.com the "best logo generator".[6]

Design.com's parent company, DesignCrowd, has raised over A$30 million,[7][8][9] from leading Australian investors, including Airtree Ventures, Starfish Ventures, Regal Funds Management, Ellerston Capital and Perennial Value Management.[8][9]

Design.com was founded by Alec Lynch,[1][7] an Australian entrepreneur who also founded DesignCrowd and BrandCrowd.[7] In 2014, Lynch won Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Emerging Category in NSW, Australia.[10][11] Lynch also serves as an ambassador for the University of Technology Sydney, where he was awarded a Co-op Scholarship and the University Medal.[11]

In December 2023, Design.com was founded and launched in Sydney, Australia, by its founder, Alec Lynch.[1] The Design.com website is owned by DesignCrowd,[1] an Australian private company that is Design.com's parent.[3]

In July 2024, Design.com announced its launch publicly after operating in stealth mode since December 2023.[1]

In September 2025, Design.com announced the launch of 4 new languages (German, French, Spanish and Portuguese) in addition to English, bringing its total languages offered to 5.[3]

In October 2025, LegalZoom announced a partnership with Design.com,[2] allowing LegalZoom customers to create logos using Design.com's AI logo generator and allowing Design.com customers to access LegalZoom's trademark and company formation services.[2]
