[edit]In 2011, Bugaeva became a semi-finalist on the first season of the Ukrainian version of The Voice (Holos Krainy), reaching the live shows. Following the competition, she founded and registered the musical project "Lika Bugaeva" as the sole rights holder and songwriter.
In December 2013, she released her debut music video "You and I". Her debut album Finally I See was released on 6 May 2014. The music video for "Fly Away" (November 2014) gained attention for incorporating sign language interpretation.

2015–present: Zetetics
[edit]On 8 October 2015, Bugaeva rebranded her project as Zetetics and released the album Zetetic. The album was recognized among the best Ukrainian albums of 2015 by music publications BeeHype, Comma, and Cultprostir. An acoustic album, Unplugged, followed in 2016.
In spring 2017, Bugaeva embarked on an acoustic European tour, performing in Budapest, Venice, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin. Zetetics performed at the Atlas Weekend festival in Kyiv in both 2017 and 2018.
The band's third studio album, 11:11, was released in September 2019 and presented at a concert in Kyiv in December 2019. Bugaeva composed music for the Ukrainian film Nightmare Director, or School No. 5 (2019).
In 2020, Bugaeva composed music for Anakonda, a documentary about Ukrainian judoka Daria Bilodid, the youngest-ever senior world judo champion. The film, directed by Anna Buryachkova, explores Bilodid's journey, training, and challenges as a world champion.[2]
Also in 2020, Zetetics was selected for the official Ukrainian Institute's contemporary music catalog, which recommends Ukrainian artists for international representation. The selection jury included directors of leading international festivals, renowned performers, and music critics from Austria, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland.
In 2021, Bugaeva became a member of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union.
Post-2022: Relocation to the UK
