Miss Cape Verde also known as Miss Cabo Verde is a national beauty pageant in Cape Verde. It was founded in 1996 and held in that year only until it was re-established in 2002 by Capital Model Agency.[citation needed] The winner is expected to represent the country at the Miss World competition.
