Nữ thần sông (tiếng Anh: potamide, cũng được gọi là potameide (tiếng Hy Lạp cổ đại: ΠοταμηΓδες))^[1] là một loại nữ thần nước trong thần thoại Hy Lạp–La Mã. Họ được xếp vào một lớp nữ thần nước ngọt được gọi là naiad và do đó thuộc về nhóm ngự trị sông suối.^[2]

Nguồn gốc và nơi ở

Các potamide được xác định bằng tên gắn liền với các dòng sông gắn liền với nguồn gốc của họ như các Anigride từ sông Anigrus, Ismenide, Amnisiade, các Pactolide từ sông Pactolus và Acheloide từ sông Achelous.^[2] Tuy nhiên, họ có tên riêng^[1] và đôi khi cũng có thể được phân biệt bằng tên quốc gia nơi họ sinh sống.^[3][4]
