Shirang-e Olya (Persian: شيرنگ عليا)^[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Shirang Rural District^[4] in Kamalan District of Aliabad-e Katul County,^[b] Golestan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,206 in 521 households.^[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,204 people in 611 households.^[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,206 people in 676 households.^[2]
