COI Check
[edit]I have added the {{COI-check}} template after finding this article inappropriately linked to cloud computing. Given additions like this it seems likely that the primary editor, User:Dbake (whose user page is an old copy of this article), is closely related to the company despite having not disclosed any such connection. This could explain why the article sounds like an advert. -- samj inout 15:19, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

How to improve this article
[edit]Rather than worry about CoI issues, how can this article be improved enough that it actually merits being linked to from other pages?
This article does indeed need NPOV management. How is this platform integrating with new developments in mobile and PC/Mac processors? The most recent modification in 2010 is a wildly bad sign of sleepy and overwhelmed contributor activity, plus creeping self-promo updating.

Some proposed changes
[edit]| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Please change the lead section to:
- Caspio is a privately-held global software technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California with offices in the Ukraine, Poland and the Philippines. Founded in 2000 by Frank Zamani, Caspio offers non-programmers an all-inclusive platform for building web applications fast, without coding and at a lower cost compared to traditional programming methods.
Reference material supporting this can be found on Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).(http://www.ciol.com/caspio-bridge-database-programmers/). Entitled Caspio Bridge: Database for non-programmers from CIOL, it's dated 10 October 2006.
The reason for the change is due to the existing introduction being rather vague and oversimplified: "Caspio is a global cloud platform for creating custom business applications without coding. Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, USA." Also, it doesn't have any sources to back it up.

information in the article which was unreferenced has been removed. References for these claims should come from sources outside of the company. Regards, Spintendo 09:01, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Partly done: Added low-code to lead, everything else is too promotional in tone. Thanks, Encoded Talk 💬 16:29, 28 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the review and inclusion of the “low-code” descriptor. We’ve revised the company description further to address your note about promotional tone while ensuring accuracy and neutrality.
- The new version removes marketing-style phrasing and focuses strictly on verifiable, encyclopedic facts consistent with other technology company entries such as Airtable, OutSystems, and Zoho Creator.
- Caspio is a low-code application development platform founded in 2000 by Frank Zamani. The platform enables users to build online database applications, automate workflows, and create web-based tools without extensive programming knowledge. Caspio’s technology is used across sectors such as healthcare, education, government, and professional services to power data management and process automation. The company’s products incorporate features for data security, cloud deployment, and integration with third-party systems.
- This revision aligns with Wikipedia’s Manual of Style (WP:TONE) and Notability for Companies (WP:ORG). We hope this version better fits the encyclopedia’s neutral point of view while preserving factual accuracy and context for readers.

Not done Hi @SundayNotes, I don't think that adding a list of compliance and features is appropriate per WP:NOTCATALOG and WP:PROMO, I'd recommend checking over them guidelines. It's also important to have neutral, independent sources. If there's news stories about your product's compliance/etc. then it might be different. Thanks, Encoded Talk 💬 22:55, 3 December 2025 (UTC)

In 2012, the platform migrated to Amazon Web Services (AWS), expanding its global cloud infrastructure. Subsequent updates introduced editions designed for specific compliance requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR. In the 2020s, Caspio added capabilities for workflow automation, AI-assisted development, and modern UI customization.
Overview Caspio’s platform enables organizations to create online database applications, automate workflows, and manage business processes without extensive coding.
