Q magazine's Adrian Deevoy quote

This quote would fit perfectly in the Legacy section:

"When you think about it in any depth, Cher is somehow connected with virtually everything musical and popular since 1964. She was, after all, present and passing the forceps at the birth of American pop."

The page where I found the quote credits it to Adrian Deevoy in Q magazine (1992). However, I haven't been able to locate the full issue online. The closest I found is this paywalled page: https://www.rocksbackpages.com/Library/Article/cher-the-beat-goes-on. If I decide to subscribe later, I plan to verify the quote and add it properly to the article. For now, I'm noting it here so it isn't forgotten.
