Can we change Heavy Metal to Thrash Metal? Joelmamula2010 (talk) 18:49, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No, the lead genre is supposed to be kept broad. They are described as other genres besides thrash metal. Bowling is life (talk) 21:31, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate info on when Hetfield started playing guitar in the band

[edit]

Hi,

Though the article says in the History section that "Ulrich recruited Hetfield to sing and play rhythm guitar", that's incorrect.

James was only on vocals at the first Metallica gig in March 1982 [1].

It wasn't until their fifth gig in May 1982 that James played guitar. [2].

Please add pronuncation (/mɛˈtʰə.lɪ.kə/?)

[edit]

Please add proper pronuncation (just like it is for many surnames or album titles).

Is it pronounced /mɛˈtʰə.lɪ.kə/ or something like that? ~2025-42019-44 (talk) 15:34, 20 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
