I'm a longtime lurker who finally registered an account. After a few months of editing, I think I've gotten a decent grasp on things, but of course, there's always still more to learn. I appreciate any feedback, and thank you if you've helped improved one of my edits.

I usually work in the area of WikiProject Anime and manga, helping to add content along with ensuring that existing info meets standards. Rather than pursuing any set standard for an article, my goal is to incorporate any relevant and useful information from existing reliable sources, however much that may be. As such, sometimes I might be satisfied that an article is GA-class in a few days (Sakura Trick), and other times, it can be a months-long project (The Executioner and Her Way of Life).

Aside from that, I enjoy copyediting; I see it as a small amount of work to help the efforts of others be more easily understood. If that sounds interesting to use, considering joining the Guild of Copy Editors.

Finally, I like fixing typos using AutoWikiBrowser.

Other languages

I can read Chinese as long as the content isn't overly technical, as well as convey the nuances of terms when translated to English from the perspective of a native speaker. I don't plan on writing in it for the foreseeable future, but I can try my best to proofread translations if asked. I can understand and write Spanish at a reasonable level, but probably not to a degree superior to machine translation, which is pretty good for Spanish these days. I have a very basic understanding of Japanese grammar and syntax, as well as hiragana and kanji. It's not very useful for much other than understanding where machine translation often goes wrong, but I'm working on improving my skills.
