Hello, I am Rafael. I am an editor living in Canada that likes to edit Wikipedia! I created my account on May 4, 2025 (I don't remember why) and started editing on that day (my edits on that day are deleted though), to create a draft about a K-9 school (It is a type of Albertan school, that type is not well-known outside Alberta). The draft got declined by AllCatsAreGrey for not being notable enough for Wikipedia. I got really upset, because I thought it was notable (now I would see it is not notable), so I made another draft and submitted it, but that also got declined. I made another draft, that got declined too. This kept on happening, so I stopped creating drafts for a few days. Instead, I gamed the system by constantly editing my user page just to get extended confirmed, but two editors warned and stopped me, and I went back to draft-making. When I continued making drafts, they all were still getting declined, so I got so angry, and I stupidly wrote this (sorry). I have not left though, and decided to get an adopter named GoldRomean (great editor), and enroll in their Wikipedia-learning school, which was cool. I also started to create articles here from "translations" on the Simple English Wikipedia, but most of the articles were constantly being AFDed by Jeraxmoira for not being notable, and users thought I was doing UPE and sockpuppetry, as seen here, here, and here, even though I was editing in good faith and was not. After that, I kind of left the article-making industry, and started doing CSDs and AFDs, because I wanted to be a New Page Reviewer. On AFDs, I was writing very harsh and uncivil comments on inexperienced editors' work on nominations and votes, saying things like this this, this, this, this, and others, so editors warned and told me about this, and quickly transformed into a large chat, because I was on a wikibreak for a day. The next day, when I came back to the computer, I saw multiple long messages on my talk page complaining about the incivility and harshness, so I immediately deleted all the comments (except for the closed discussions). I would have removed it more early and the topic would probably be shorter if I was not on the 1-day wikibreak. I learned on that day to not be harsh and rude on AFDs. After that, I still continued my work on AFD. I had good knowledge of the notability guidelines, I really did, it was just I really wanted to be a New Page Reviewer, so I became too speedy, tagging articles too fast and randomly, resulted in many editors warning me to stop. I ignored. I just continued on, until Star Mississippi blocked me for about a day, as seen here. I was really upset. I started saying uncivil comments, as seen here. But then, I thought that there were more places to edit Wikipedia that would fit me, so when the block stopped, I went on to create articles and copy edit pages. After that, I went on to transform into a more civil, patient, mature, and constructive user. I learned on Wikipedia that things can be hard at times and might not go the way you would expect, but if you keep on going, even at rough situations, you can grow into something new.
