I'm an entomology student from the Pacific Northwest. On Wikipedia, I try to contribute primarily by adding information from my numerous books on insects and other topics and by uploading photographs I've taken of various things. Off of Wikipedia, I contribute to free knowledge by sharing more photographs, observing and collecting specimens for research and public outreach, organizing events to teach students and the curious public about bugs, and building connections between people and platforms. In addition to my studies, I'm currently teaching myself multiple languages and I hope to be able to build on existing articles by translating once I have a better grasp of them. My area of expertise is insect social behavior. I have a number of somewhat uncommon books from which I have been eagerly adding to Wikipedia where needed.
