Jiani Zeng moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Jiani Zeng. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:21, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Jiani Zeng moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Jiani Zeng, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. List of J&J products and services sources

[edit]

Hi @Alabamanian, I noticed you removed some primary sources from the List of Johnson & Johnson products and services Wikipedia article. I added four new secondary sources in-place of the sources you removed. Do you think these changes address the banner? If not, what else do you suggest?--Chefmikesf (talk) 00:48, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:51, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Sam Heydt (February 15)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Netherzone was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
The sources do not indicate that this artist is passes WP:GNG. Currently they consist of three refs that are user-submited content of her bio and artist statement. Please also be cognizant of using peacock/puffery such as claiming she is a "pioneer of using recycled media". There are many artists and filmmakers going back to the early 20th C. that have done that. The draft needs better sources for the collections, currently the Smithsonian is sourced to a bio blurb on an auction site; the Hermitage and is sourced to a photo caption that does not support the claim; the PERM is sourced to an interview (primary source) in a blog-like source where an artist can submit a pitch for their work that does not support the claim. What is needed to establish notability are verifiable secondary sources that provide significant coverage of her work that are fully independent of her, and that back up the claims (facts) in the draft. Please improve, take your time doing so because high quality sources are better than quantity of sources, then resubmit when it is improved.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

@Netherzone I have Replaced the Museum collections with better citations. I also added 2 new sentences and 3 new citations to the career section. Alabamanian (talk) 03:42, 18 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for adding the Smithsonian citation, that's a good one. However the other two collections have unreliable sources - Artativa is user submitted content, it is not an independent source, and according to the site itself, it's a place for artists to "create a profile and display their work" either for free or for paid "enhancement." It is a site for artist's self promotion. It's not a serious reliable source. The Paris Collage Collection citation is similar it's a directory and a social networking site where artists self-promote - it's user-submitted content. What is needed is verification from the museum that the artist's work in in their collection. NARTIST #4 needs multiple verifiable museum collections to meet that criteria.
