[edit]

Hello! Mind taking a look at what I did to Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing? See if it helps the afd case. Have a great day! --Ouro (blah blah) 07:37, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That’s good! It addresses my concerns very well. I think it can be closed. Thank you. :) ChimaFan12 (talk) 02:58, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

This is just a procedural notice, prompted by the discussion at Talk:South Park season 27. Best, 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 03:34, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Talk:Center for Science and Culture. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! Hi, which interaction are you referring to? ChimaFan12 (talk) 19:26, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your concern, however, I believe I am assuming good faith. I'm reviewing your edit comment there. You say that I should not revert an edit made by a "more expensive" user than myself? What does that mean? ChimaFan12 (talk) 20:20, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Topic ban appeal successful

[edit]

I am writing to inform you that as a result of this discussion, your topic ban from all pages and discussions related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been lifted. You are once again welcome to edit these topics, but note that a return to the behaviour which led to the ban being imposed in the first place may quickly lead to additional and more severe sanctions. Please ask if you need help, and be aware of our guide to dispute resolution. Thank you and happy editing. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 19:06, 8 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
