- You may be right user:Rambley. Needless to say criteria for notability that include every player on the 2025 New York Jets team but that exclude land areas of 100s of acres with state protection and management plans that go back decades makes little to no sense. I think IAR and common sense should apply. FloridaArmy (talk) 14:06, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- I do think the standards for notability here can differ from person to person, topic to topic. There are definitely a lot of topics that can be notable, but the sourcing has to show it. As an example, I just accepted Chateaugay State Forest also written by you which had a pretty good amount of both sources and content; a definitely notable topic (or in this case, area of land). If the sourcing can be changed to remove that WordPress blog and show a range of reliable sources covering the topic like that other article does, I'll definitely try to be the first one to accept it. - User:Carolina2k22 I resubmitted after notifying you that you didn't address my statement that, "The subject is notable per very substantial coverage in reliable independent sources over many decades and per meeting the creator criteria for having been the architects of over a dozen notable buildings." Can you please explain why the subject doesn't meet our criteria fro creative professionals? FloridaArmy (talk) 11:48, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
- @FloridaArmy Absolutely! My apologies for not being clearer on this earlier. Almost all of the sources are either WP:ROTM announcements, primary sources or simply just interviews/regurgitating what primary sources are saying. From the sources included in the article, it does not demonstrate any form of real in-depth extensive coverage. Overall as of the current sources in the article, this really just seems like a WP:ROTM architectural firm. Carolina2k22 • (talk) 11:57, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
- User:Carolina2k22 you seem to be doubling down on false statements. The National Corvette Museum, the 20 story Huntington Bank building, the Jim Crow Museum, and their many other projects for which we have articles are not run of the mill, that's why we have articles on them! If you think they are run of the mill take them to a deletion discussion. This firm clearly meets the creator criteria and is well sourced. FloridaArmy (talk) 12:09, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
- @FloridaArmy Well, since we both disagree, I'll get out of the way here and just let another editor look at it. Feel free to re-submit. Carolina2k22 • (talk) 21:22, 25 January 2026 (UTC)

- Furthermore User:Carolina2k22 you've falsely claimed there isn't substantial coverage but the more than a dozen sources include articles entirely about this firm being selected as the architects for major projects. What kind of substantial coverage or assmblage of notable projects would make an architecture firm notable? Coverage such as this bylined article and detailed biographical history in the other founder's collectes papers collection simply are not passing mentions.
