Question from Ibolabinjo on User:Ibolabinjo/Artificial human companion (22:19, 1 December 2025)

[edit]

Hi! I was wondering how I can request feedback for my published article? I recently edited the original article on wikipedia and would like feedback somehow --Ibolabinjo (talk) 22:19, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you're looking for feedback on an existing article, see Wikipedia:Peer review. Rambley (talk / contribs) 22:21, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from PhyllisGreat05 (15:10, 2 December 2025)

[edit]

This article is full of political bias and does not properly represent the page in question. I wanted to add the films Amanda Eliasch has done and it keeps deleting the page despite articles and you tube channels. Politics has increased I see and art diminished. --PhyllisGreat05 (talk) 15:10, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

What article are you talking about? Rambley (talk / contribs) 15:11, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@amandaeliasch it is full of hate speech which I don't believe and can you please help me to edit it as apparently it is incorrect. There is no blog. She makes films and art and you have her as a political activist who hangs out with Nigel Farage? It needs editing. Apparently she was being black mailed. Can I make it a bit more neutral? PhyllisGreat05 (talk) 08:30, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am going to ask you to stop leaving these messages on my talk page. These are mentor questions and go directly to me; without any context about what article you’re talking about, I can’t help you. Thanks. Rambley (talk / contribs) 08:32, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay but it said you were mentoring me, don't worry I will try and sort it out myself. Wikipedia is very difficult when you first start as you probably remember. I am so sorry I am irritating you. Thank you for your help just trying to get through. PhyllisGreat05 (talk) 08:36, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Harold Foppele

[edit]

Goodevening, The article Draft:Quantum Beams has now a newly written intro, deleted hyperlinks insid the text, a new section == History == and new inline citations. Before re-submitting it for review, could you please be so kind and take a look at it? Thank you very much. Harold Foppele (talk) 18:46, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, we don't really do pre-reviews; the best way to get feedback is to submit the article for review. The one point of feedback I will give is that you should really re-write the intro to be more neutral and factual, as I explained in my email. Rambley (talk / contribs) 18:48, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But I did that, Maybe you didnt see it?Harold Foppele (talk) 19:15, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Considering I can still see sentences such as "Thus, if you can fit ten times more wavelengths, you get about a thousand times more channels" and "That's the hard ceiling for things like: how much information you can send through free space to a telescope or antenna how complex a quantum entanglement experiment can get", perhaps it still needs some work? Rambley (talk / contribs) 19:26, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Prepare to be amazed! :) It's the sound that makes the music. Harold Foppele (talk) 22:04, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ashamed, i feel very ashamed. The page was speedy deleted. And it should be. I had AI search for refs it came up with some and I added them without checking. Sorry, while you did your best to help me. Thanks! Harold Foppele (talk) 10:59, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Rambley: If you have time can you advise if i can continue? Harold Foppele (talk) 12:22, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I sent you an email with some criticism and notes about your new draft. Rambley (talk / contribs) 12:24, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Rambley: Guess what ❤️❤️ Thank you so very, very much for your support !!! Quantum beams inside a spherical volume has been accepted. I am eternally gratefull for your help! Cheers Harold Foppele (talk) 17:30, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Irisk

[edit]

I'd like clarification on which sources are considered independent. I took information from the official website and also from this one: https://www.streetinsider.com/Press+Releases/Composer+and+Violinist+Iris+K+Brings+a+Fresh+Modern+Classical+Sound+to+Global+Audiences/25696819.html

What other sources do you need? Please tell me.

For this page: Draft:Irisk Define5 (talk) 00:19, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you need to cite your sources within the article. See Help:Referencing for beginners on how to do that. However, press releases (like the one you've attached) are not considered independent sources and can't be used towards notability; see WP:PRSOURCE. Articles should contain a minimum of three (but more if you can find them) reliable, secondary sources that are independent from the subject and cover them in significant depth. Independent from the subject means the source has no influence from the subject or client; see WP:IS for more information. Rambley (talk / contribs) 00:26, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 22:06:31, 4 December 2025 for assistance on AfC submission by Maltfield

[edit]

Hi Rambley, the wordpress link is reliable, as it's the official site of the organization. Just because it's hosted by wordpress does *not* mean it's not reliable under Wikipedia's rules, since it's the official page of the charity that the article is about.

One of the YouTube videos is a report by Al Jazeera America, which is certainly a reliable source. The other YouTube videos are interviews with the Executive Director of the charity which this article is about. Again, that's a primary source that's reliable in the context of Wikipedia.

If you have any other concerns about the references used, please let me know.

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
Your contributions are AfC are outstanding. Between your hundreds upon hundreds of reviews in the past few months and your speed in reviewing, you are significant in reducing the backlog! I was just about to review Draft:Clifton Productions (which the system said was submitted 2 seconds ago), but you completed your review right as I began reviewing! The only way I could even touch your score in the backlog drive would be re-reviewing all your reviews :).

Not to mention, the pictures on your userpage are always on point. 🌀Hurricane Wind and Fire (talk) (contribs)🔥 00:52, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much!! It gets a bit tiring reviewing hundreds of AI-filled promotional unsourced pages, so knowing people appreciate my work is always nice. Hopefully I'll get around to doing some re-reviews of your reviews soon!! Rambley (talk / contribs) 00:54, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Pranav-rive (02:34, 5 December 2025)

[edit]

Can you make new articles on Wikipedia? If you can, i can't find how. --Pranav-rive (talk) 02:34, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

My article on the Scrambler

[edit]

Hi, I saw you recently declined my article. What exactly do you mean by being more specific? Thanks for your time! HoodedBeast (talk) 02:41, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I never made any mention about being more specific in my comments. My notes were that Wikipedia and other wikis should not be cited as sources & that the current sourcing does not establish the topic as notable. Rambley (talk / contribs) 02:43, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks! I'll look into that. Just curious... if I found good sources, would this be suitable for its own page? HoodedBeast (talk) 02:45, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If you can find enough reliable, secondary sources independent from the subject that cover it in significant depth and you can write a large enough article, then yes. Rambley (talk / contribs) 02:47, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thanks HoodedBeast (talk) 02:48, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 12:56:55, 7 December 2025 for assistance on AfC submission by Shiran Hazan

[edit]

Hello,

This is my first time writing a Wikipedia article, and it’s about the company I work for, Playstudios. I included neutral, published sources such as Forbes, People, and others, but my submission was declined due to insufficient sources.

Since our company is traded on NASDAQ, I believe it is notable enough for a Wikipedia article. Could someone please guide me and help improve the article?

I would really appreciate any assistance.

Thanks!

Shiran Hazan (talk) 12:56, 7 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just because your company is traded on the NASDAQ does not mean it is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. It has to pass our notability criteria; see WP:GNG and WP:NCORP. Many of your sources such as App Store links, press releases, etc. are not reliable and do nothing to help establish notability. The article itself has a tone that is inappropriate for an encyclopedia, being written more like an advertisement for the company rather than a neutral, formal article. Request on 12:53:20, 8 December 2025 for assistance on AfC submission by Ricardozocca

[edit]

Hello,

Thank you for your quick review. I appreciate your feedback. I would like to make improvements to the text so it can finally be published. Regarding the note that it appears AI-generated, could you kindly point out which part specifically? Since I only used AI for translation and formatting the text, it’s hard for me to identify which section might sound unnatural. And about the sources, I can guarantee that the majority was not a press release, but coverage from real media such as: ERT, NASDAQ, Newsbeast and television interviews. Is there anything I can do to improve?

Also, what further steps do you recommend I take to successfully publish the article?

Thank you for your guidance.

Ricardozocca (talk) 12:53, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You should not really use AI for either of those purposes. It is best to just not use it at all. The reliability of some of these sources is questionable and the NASDAQ link literally has "press release" in its URL. The draft relies on primary sources from the company extensively. Another issue I forgot to note is the overabundance of business jargon and corporate-speak throughout; "successful enterprise-transforming transactions and defending high-stakes business controversies", "expanded its operations internationally, positioning itself as a global legal entity", "emphasizes a solutions-based approach, aiming to find innovative solutions to complex business issues for its clients" and other such phrases are simply inappropriate for a Wikipedia article. Rambley (talk / contribs) 12:59, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your detailed notes. Since this is my first article, I am still learning the guidelines and appreciate the feedback.
I don't think I can find any more news sources for this subject, but I will make the text better. I will implement the improvements you have suggested, focusing on removing the business jargon and rewriting the content in a more neutral, encyclopedic tone. Clarification about Draft:A blueprint for business architectures

[edit]

Hello, and thank you for reviewing my draft Draft:A blueprint for business architectures.

I wanted to note that I am one of the original co-authors of the 1986 paper cited in the draft, and my goal in submitting this article is to document its historical contribution to layered and multitier software architecture — not for self-promotion.
All cited sources (IEEE, ACM, and Archive.org) are reliable secondary publications, and the tone has been carefully written to remain neutral and encyclopedic.

Please let me know if any changes would help bring the article into alignment with Wikipedia’s notability or sourcing standards. Thank you very much for your time and help,

— Bill Stackhouse BillStackhouse (talk) 20:41, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Why do you love Wikipedia? --AbingdonILlover (talk) 00:19, 16 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Difficult question to answer! I've just always been into documenting as much reliable information about a topic as possible. I love the community here and I generally love the concept of an infinitely editable encyclopedia that anyone can get involved in. I've always loved writing and this hobby gives me a chance to do just that. Rambley (talk / contribs) 00:45, 16 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Random question

[edit]

Hey - random question. Is your name Indigo Park inspired? If so, nice to meet a fellow fan! I'm hoping that the next chapter will result in enough sources to justify a series entry. If not, then it's kind of a wild coincidence with the name and raccoon mascot, so I recommend checking it out! ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 04:36, 25 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Also, happy holidays! ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 04:36, 25 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Happy holidays! My name is indeed based off of the silly guy from Indigo Park; I am a huge raccoon fanatic (my fursona is a raccoon as well) so I thought it'd be fitting. Rambley (talk / contribs) 08:02, 25 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I love it! Please tell me that your fursona also wears a neck bandana sometimes as well - that's just too cute! ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 03:42, 26 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
