Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, PhyllisGreat05. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Amanda Eliasch, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

This is completely incorrect just as a lot of Wikipedia is, I was trying to edit a page that I know to be incorrect. I am neither a friend or an associate just trying to get a page more reflective on the subject. Eliasch has nothing to do with politics in the UK. She is however a contributor to The De Vere society and has been the supporter of the BFI and has artistic pursuits. I will not edit any other pages as clearly the gate keepers find it difficult to change their opinions. The page in question is not correct. PhyllisGreat05 (talk) 16:02, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please tell us how it is that you know all of these things about Eliasch's interests and pursuits if you have no connection with or affliation to her? Athanelar (talk) 19:17, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I watched her on Lady Colin Campbell's channel about four years ago when she interviewed her and then recently about Shakespeare, Marlowe and The Earl of Oxford, I then checked and found she was a member of the De Vere Society, and Shakespeare Authorship Trust. She has finished a film. I do not know her but her character interested me. This led me to check her up as her ex husband is interested in the rain forests and so I did some home work. I did not find much that was political so I thought her page was a bit heavy. Clearly TPISA are interesting but she seems to have just gone to a drinks party there. She is not running for Government as far as I know. Some people interest you. Thanks for helping me with my first page. It is very complicated. I then found some photographs on a Facebook page and she is showing whippets. Social media was helpful. PhyllisGreat05 (talk) 19:54, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
