- @Rasnaboy What are some things I can start to help out in. I currently use Rater to rate new pages. PieWriter (talk) 11:04, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
- Thank you! PieWriter (talk) 05:22, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
Pie writer removes information for outdated information
[edit]Why did you remove information on the current FK brskovo Squad as it is sourced from Transfermarkt and the squad was outdated so I updated the page Miodrag Božović hasn't played for FK brskovo — Preceding unsigned comment added by IKfootball (talk • contribs) 11:54, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- @IKfootball Sorry for that, but next time remember to convert external links, like google.com, to references (<ref>) or place them in the External Links section. PieWriter (talk) 12:00, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. IKfootball (talk) 12:27, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
Rollback granted
[edit]
Hi PieWriter. After reviewing your request, I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2026-02-28. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:02, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- @HJ Mitchell Okay, Thanks! PieWriter (talk) 00:18, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- @HJ Mitchell Is it possible to extend it? PieWriter (talk) 09:40, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
Sorry
[edit]I reverted the wrong revision. I thought Huggle was supposed to lock me out when the vandalism gets reverted before I get a click on it. I guess it failed me this time. And then, I rollback both my previous edits on your talk page, thereby restoring the vandals message from earlier today... right after you had just thanked me for removing it! Before I get anything else screwed up, I'm gonna go have dinner now instead. Cheers! --DB1729talk 00:00, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, I noticed. Its all good PieWriter (talk) 00:23, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

- Please, indicate to me, where this article with WP:CS not pass for WP:V? It's supported by inline citations and all facts or claims correspond to reliable sources. Why you should add it? Noel baran (talk) 08:59, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
- Out of the three sources cited, Catholic-Hierarchy is not reliable. I would like to put the notice there to encourage more users to add more reliable sources to the article to increase it verifiability. PieWriter (talk) 09:17, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
- But sources are reliable enough (save you note), and this banner exist to indicate problems, and what more reliable sources can be found in this case, as the vaticannews and Croatian Catholic news agency. Catholic hierarchy is a supportive source for it. Why this article needs this banner? Noel baran (talk) 09:26, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
- There are only 3 primary sources currently n the article, Per WP:BLP, the article need more sources for verifibility. PieWriter (talk) 10:28, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
