Question about the scope of the MG task force

[edit]

Hello Solidest, I noticed that you removed the MG task force banner from the article on Ramin Hosseinpour, mentioning that biography articles are outside the scope of the group. I completely understand your point and respect your experience. I only added the banner because the subject’s work deeply intersects with cinema, architecture, and music—areas I thought might align with the focus of the task force. If there’s a more specific guideline about its scope, I’d really appreciate it if you could point me to it. I’d be happy to learn and adjust accordingly. Thank you for your time and thoughtful guidance. Vodnir (talk) 01:35, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. The music project is divided into many separate projects, and the Music genres task force only covers articles about music genres - the main page of the task force lists its goals. Articles about specific people can be assigned to projects for individual genres: Classical music, Rock, etc. or, for example, Composers. The complete list is here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Music. Hello again,Thank you, Solidest — that makes perfect sense. I appreciate the clarification. I’ll review the main Music WikiProject list and select the most suitable project (likely the Composers project) for this article. Thanks again for your time and helpful guidance! Hello Solidest, I’ve recently made several improvements to the Ramin Hosseinpour article, including updates to references, formatting, and expanded coverage of his work in film, music, and architecture. If you have time, I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a look and see whether the article could be upgraded to B-class. Thank you very much for your time and guidance!
