Your submission at Articles for creation: Abdominal Cancer Day (December 28)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Fermiboson was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Issues unresolved. Any article with "our vision is" in the article body is clearly unsuitable.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Speedy deletion declined: 2025 United States strikes in Nigeria

[edit]

Hello Yusuf Michael, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of 2025 United States strikes in Nigeria, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The reason given is not a valid speedy deletion criterion. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. CoconutOctopus talk 11:22, 28 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Misapplying deletion tags

[edit]

Hi @Yusuf Michael, you were previously told in October to stop applying erroneous speedy deletion tags to pages on Wikipedia. Speedy deletion tags may only be used for certain specific criteria. If you do not understand how tagging for deletion works then you should not be tagging articles for deletion. Please focus on other aspects of the project for now. Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to pseudoscience and fringe science, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. tgeorgescu (talk) 11:42, 28 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The Americans were the ones who attacked, there's reputable sources saying so. https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/venezuela-us-military-strikes-maduro-trump/ Yusuf Michael (talk) 08:17, 3 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:2026 United States strikes in Venezuela for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts (but never when editing articles). There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button icon located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Adding this template since it explains post signing much better than I can. Doing so will help other editors distinguish who is making comments in a discussion. Thanks for your contributions, and happy editing! Staraction (talk · contribs) 09:36, 3 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
