Move request
[edit]Hi all! I've submitted a move request to retitle Carla Rossi (a drag persona) to the artist's name. Please feel free to weigh in! And thanks to Another Believer for gently educating me about move requests. Braines123 (talk) 18:17, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
Discussion about WikiProject banner templates
[edit]For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:
- "This article has been rated as Low-importance on the importance scale."
There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners. Oregon gubernatorial election voting data by county
[edit]Hello, WikiProject Oregon. I recently compiled an exhaustive list of Wikipedia pages pertaining to United States gubernatorial elections which need tables detailing general election voting statistics by county. If anyone wants to help out with this task of adding stat tables, I'd gladly welcome the assistance. Here is the Oregon list, and all 49 other states have their own likewise lists on that page. Thank you. Mungo Kitsch (talk) 05:33, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
Reliability of rightnoworegon.com
[edit]Any opinions on the reliability of this site? I found one of their articles while searching for a secondary source for this. It doesn't appear reliable to me and I'm suspicious the articles are partially AI generated given that they refer to Judge Lucy Tung
, a person who does not seem to exist (the actual 9th circuit judge is Eric Tung - very weird mistake for a human to make).
There are no listed authors or info on their editorial policy, the about page just says Right Now Oregon was formed by young Oregonians who take the lead in civics from Coos Bay to Wallowa Lake and everywhere in between
.
They're only cited on a few articles here, which I'm planning to replace with better sources. Mostly leaving this here in case anyone searches for them later but appreciate any thoughts. Jamedeus (talk) 00:26, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Jamedeus: I haven't heard of this site before, but my instinct is that it's not reliable. Not having a named author on the byline of any articles is never a good indication for reliability. Zeibgeist (talk) 00:49, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- In fact, I can't seem to find any names of people affiliated with the site—no named editors, founders, etc. Looks rather fishy to me. Zeibgeist (talk) 00:52, 14 December 2025 (UTC)

Digital video log broken
[edit]Anyone else experiencing this? If I try to use it, no images load, and manually entering the URL of an image that it attempts to load suggests that rssa.odot.state.or.us doesn't exist. I was trying to confirm info for Highway 213. If you reply here, please ping me. Thanks, thetechie@enwiki (she/they | talk) 23:15, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
New bio on Thomas Lister Kay
[edit]Hi all, I've started a new bio on Thomas Lister Kay, who founded the Thomas Kay Woolen Mill Company in Salem and whose descendants were an influential part of Oregon's textile industry. Thomas Kay Woolen Mill currently redirects to the Willamette Heritage Center, but I think it has potential to be split off into a separate article at some point (right now the Willamette Heritage article has more text about the history of the mill than the present museum). Any suggestions or improvements would be welcome. Zeibgeist (talk) 02:24, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
