the Stefen 𝕋ower, standing in front of a fallen sequoia, the only thing on Earth taller than him (summer 2001 in Sequoia National Park)

Stefen 𝕋ower (né Steve Magruder; heehee/him) is a sit-down comedaean (/ˈkɑːmʌˌdʌn/) from The Ville. Heehee is currently developing a YouTube program to be entitled Stefen 𝕋ower Presents!!1! Starring Stefen 𝕋ower.

𝕋ower's main mode of work in the Wikipedia has been improving existing articles and the "connective tissue" between them. Heehee has admittedly not created many articles, but has created mounds of categories and redirects, as well as some pretty cool WikiProject pages/reports. Also, heehee's a total spelling crank, thus his multitudinous AWB cleanups (damn, peeps, this encyclopedia is dirty!). Last, yes, heehee refers to himself in the third person because heehee wrote this crapola as if heehee was writing an article.[1]

Ongoing Wikipedia efforts

[edit]
  • Ad hoc article improvements
  • Ad hoc category creations: Most of my recent category creations have been Louisville-related.
  • Semi-automated typo fixes and general cleanups using AWB in the following areas, including related categories and subtopics where applicable:
  • Gradually improving WikiProject Louisville's priority articles to move them toward WP:GA and WP:FA
  • Cross-project work
    • WikiProject Insights: Building a library of database queries and reports, which together help editors gain data-driven insight into how they may assist WikiProject efforts. Currently this is informal in the form of a list of queries on Quarry and their implementations in only two WikiProjects, but I will be formalizing it at some point. (I've also created a few queries I call "Editor Insights", listed at the same location.) See my report deployments below.
    • Structural improvements: Most of my work as been on WikiProject Louisville so far, but I've also tweaked WikiProject Kentucky somewhat.
    • Cataloging of existing articles/pages: I've been concentrating on WP Louisville, WP Kentucky, and WP Indiana recently, but I will gradually expand this region, perhaps to Chicago and Cincinnati next.
    • Categorizing WikiProjects and their components, concentrating in assessments and reports recently.
  • Enhancing RegExTypoFix (new typos to fix, avoiding false positives): I haven't done this much recently, but I've been building a list of potential new typo fixes to add.
