The Soft Bulletin é o noveno álbum da banda estadounidense de rock alternativo The Flaming Lips, publicado o 17 de maio de 1999no Reino Unido e o 22 de xuño nos Estados Unidos a través do selo Warner Bros. Records. Obtivo unha amplo éxito entre a crítica, que o aclamou polo seu afastamento do anterior son guitarreiro do grupo, cara a un traballo máis elaborado.

A publicación en liña Pitchfork Media elixiu The Soft Bulletin como terceiro mellor álbum dos anos 90.[1]

Tras o seu lanzamento, The Soft Bulletin foi obxecto de varas demandas á discográfica pola música comercial que soaba nel, debido á inclusión de remixes de varios temas.
