Pada musim panas 2005, avex mengumumkan debut pop baru / Eurobeat kelompok yang terdiri dari laki-laki dan perempuan yang telah menjalani pelatihan di akademi artis avex, fasilitas pelatihan label rekaman untuk penyanyi, penari, dan bakat hiburan lainnya. Karena itu, debut kelompok jauh diantisipasi dan diterima dengan baik oleh banyak penggemar .Dalam debutnya tahun mereka, mereka menerima "Best Newcomer Award" di 47th Japan Record Awards. Dari September sampai Desember mereka merilis single setiap bulan ditambah photobook dan album pertama mereka,ATTACK, pada Januari 2006. Dengan semua iklan sebelumnya dan rilis kelompok tidak punya waktu untuk melakukan lagu-lagu mereka hidup. Namun, karena masing-masing dari single mereka memiliki genre yang berbeda ini tidak menyebabkan masalah dengan penjualan.
Misako Uno, pemeran utama wanita, membintangi bersama Sarah Michelle Gellar dalam versi Hollywood The Grudge 2 pada tahun 2006. Dia memainkan salah satu dari 3 gadis sekolah dan semua dialognya dalam bahasa Inggris. Setelah merilis mini album ALL / 2 pada tanggal 13 September 2006, AAA merilis album kedua merekaALL pada tanggal 1 Januari 2007. Penjualan album yang sukses tapi masih kurang dari ATTACK pendahulunya, meskipun hal ini hampir pasti karena band melepaskan semua tapi 3 lagu dari album sebagai single dengan video musik sepanjang tahun 2006.
AAA juga melakukan openning untuk tahun 2007 Kamen Rider Den-O dan juga Delesious Gakuin. Untuk single ini, "Climax Jump," mereka sementara berganti nama menjadi "AAA Den-O FORM". Single ini bersertifikat Gold oleh Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) untuk pengiriman 100.000 single fisik dan 100.000 full-track ringtone download musik (atau Chaku Uta Full) masing-masing, membuat Climax Jump mereka yang paling sukse.[6][7]
AAA muncul di Otakon 2007 Baltimore, Maryland.[8]
AAA masuk dalam 1 chart Oricon mingguan pada tahun 2008 dengan berjudul "Mirage". AAA juga tampil di teater dan Nishijima diwujudkan minat dalam akting. Dia muncul dalam film Love Exposure, yang merupakan film pertama baginya untuk memainkan peran utama.Dia tampil cross-dressing dalam film[9] dan akhirnya memenangkan Sponichi Grand Prix New Face Award tahun 2009 pada tanggal 19 Januari 2010[10]
Setelah serangkaian 5-10 top hits sepanjang 2007-2008, AAA memiliki era sukses pada tahun 2009 dengan album mereka Heartful, dengan album dan semua single sebelumnya memulai debutnya di atas 3. Pada tahun 2010, AAA double A-side single "Aitai Riyu / Dream After Dream (Yume Kara Sameta Yume)" menduduki puncak Oricon mingguan chart pada Mei 2010, menjadi nomor kedua 1 single di tangga lagu. Kedua lagu digubah oleh Tetsuya Komuro, sedangkan liriknya ditulis oleh orang lain. Single mereka berikutnya "Makenai Kokoro" dirilis pada bulan Agustus. Lagu ini juga diciptakan oleh Komuro, tapi Uno dan Ito menyanyikan mayoritas lagu sambil Hidaka memberikan dukungan rap vokal seperti Heartful era mereka. Single debut di nomor 3 di tangga lagu Oricon di lebih dari 45.000 penjualan.
Pada tahun 2011, mereka merilis album kompilasi ke 2 mereka "# AAABEST" dan kemudian menjadi album terlaris mereka pada waktu itu, serta menjadi nomor satu album mereka 1 di tangga lagu mingguan Oricon.[11]
Dalam rangka 10th Anniversary. AAA mengadakan Tour Asia di 4 Negara. Dan pada tanggal 08 April 2015 pertama kalinya AAA mengadakan konser di Indonesia di Upper room
