Citrus australis est species arborum fructiferarum quae ad genus citrorum pertinet. Historia binominis variis modis scribitur. Iulio Aemilio Planchon anno 1858 statuit e nomine anteriori Limonia australis ab Allan Cunningham rite edito. Gualterus Tennyson Swingle Microcitrus australis anno 1915 temptavit, quod nomen etiam hodie nonnulli accipiunt.
