Litoria singadanae (Richards, 2005)[2]
|
Litoria singadanae is a frog from Papua New Guinea.[3] As of 2007, scientists had only found it in one place.[4] It lives in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.[1][2]
The scientists found two male adults, 29.0 mm and 29.1 mm long from nose to rear end and one female is 34.6 mm long. It is green in color. It is different from other frogs because its tympanum, or eardrum, is clear. Scientists have found this frog 1200 metres above sea level on the Huon Peninsula.[4]
