Louis DeJoy (born June 20, 1957) is an American businessman and Republican Party fundraiser. He was appointed in May 2020 by the Board of Governors of the United States Postal Service (USPS) to be the 75th United States Postmaster General. He was the founder and CEO of the logistics and freight company New Breed Logistics. He became known for his changes to the United States Postal Service that would have made it harder for people for vote by mail during the 2020 United States presidential election under the orders of President Donald Trump.[2]
