Nikola Dovedan (born July 6, 1994 in Tulln an der Donau) is an Austrian footballer . He plays as midfielder for the Turkish 2nd league club Fatih Karagümrük SK.
Nikola Dovedan started playing football for FC Tulln in 2001. Then he joined the youth team at FK Austria Wien. At the age of 16, he moved to the local academy at Salzburg. Then he played for the 2nd team of Red Bull Salzburg. The next season he played for FC Liefering. After the 2013 championship the team was promoted after two relegation games against LASK to the Second league.After the 2013/14 season he moved to LASK.
For the 2016/17 season he moved to Bundesliga club SCR Altach on loan. [1] In May 2017, SCR Altach got the transfer rights to Dovedan. At the beginning of the 2017/18 season, Dovedan was transferred to the German second division club 1. FC Heidenheim. For the 2019/20 season he moved to 1. FC Nürnberg. [2] After three years in Bavaria, he left the club after his contract ended after the 2021/22 season.
After failing to find a club in the regular transfer phase, Dovedan returned to Austria Wien in September 2022. Primarily he was used as a joker. He made 20 Bundesliga appearances in which he scored one goal. For the 2023/24 season he then returned to Germany to Heidenheim. He left the club again in the summer of 2024.Dovedan then moved to Turkey to second division club Fatih Karagümrük SK for the 2024/25 season.
He played 28 games for the Austrian U16, U19 and U21 and scored 4 goals. [3]
