Paul Prudhomme (July 13, 1940 – October 8, 2015), also known as Gene Autry Prudhomme, was an American celebrity chef. His specialty was Creole cuisine.[source?]
He was the chef of K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen in New Orleans. He had previously owned and run several other restaurants. He created several products, including hot sauce and seasoning mixes, and wrote a number of cookbooks.[source?]
Prudhomme was born in Opelousas, Louisiana. He died in New Orleans, Louisiana from a short-illness at the age of 75.[1][better source needed]
