Tomás Sánchez (born May 22, 1948 in Aguada de Pasajeros, Cienfuegos, Cuba) is a Cuban painter and engraver, known for his landscapes.
He was on a blacklist in Cuba for [part of the time] between 1987 and 2014; he did not have any solo exhibitions (or exhibitions alone) in Cuba for 27 years.[1]

Critics and curators have said that his work has links to the experience of meditation.
In 2016, Sánchez was called the most expensive living Cuban painter.[2][3]
