Wade Redden (born June 12, 1977) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former professional defenceman. He played parts of fifteen seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, and Boston Bruins.
He joined the Rangers in 2008 after 11 seasons with the Ottawa Senators. He has played for Canada internationally seven times, winning two gold medals in the World Junior Championships and once in the World Cup of Hockey.
On January 9, 2014, Redden announced that he was retiring from playing professional ice hockey.[1]
On July 11, 2022, Redden accepted a job to become the development coach for the Ottawa Senators.[2]
