Renana Jhabvala är en indisk socialarbetare baserad i Ahmedabad, som i decennier arbetat för förbättrade villkor och möjligheter för fattiga kvinnor och för personer i den informella ekonomin. 1990 fick hon motta Padma Shri-utmärkelsen från Indiens regering för detta arbete och engagemang.[1]
