No problem. As one of the original 16 wikis that have been beta testing VisualEditor, we set up this feedback page. I'll continue to monitor it and send along bug reports and other feedback. We've also started to translate the help material and will start adjusting our custom interface messages soon. – Nguyễn Xuân Minh (thảo luận, đóng góp) 07:23, ngày 9 tháng 7 năm 2013 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay. I just got done translating the VisualEditor documentation and probably don't have much time to take on any Echo documentation. I'll put out a call for volunteers. In general, the community here is pretty accepting of new software features. Often, as features are developed against the English Wikipedia, users here express enthusiasm towards the feature and ask for it to be deployed here. (That happened with WikiLove, so Thanks is likely to see some use here.) So I wouldn't worry too much about backlash. – Nguyễn Xuân Minh (thảo luận, đóng góp) 09:30, ngày 28 tháng 8 năm 2013 (UTC)
That's great to hear! I've posted a notice on our village pump and updated Wikipedia:Trình soạn thảo trực quan. We still have a lot of work to do, mostly adding TemplateData to common templates. But I think VE will be usable by then.
Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "proper character support"? To my knowledge, VE has always supported the full Vietnamese alphabet, although very early versions had issues with our JavaScript IME. Or are you referring to the new Special Character palette? It only has a few accented characters, not nearly enough to type in Vietnamese. However, I don't think that'll be a problem, because the IME we have is much more usable than any character palette could be for typing in Vietnamese.

Hi, sorry, I somehow missed your message while catching up the other day. You can always feel free to post to Wikipedia:Thảo luận in English. (It's helpful to add a note inviting users to translate to Vietnamese.) One concern I have is that the viewer will show images much larger than on image description pages, so the "expanded image" will take longer to load and use more bandwidth. Will there be a preference for individual users to turn this feature off once it's turned on by default here? – Nguyễn Xuân Minh (thảo luận, đóng góp) 08:12, ngày 7 tháng 3 năm 2014 (UTC)
