Information icon Hi Lui Editor! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Turkish people several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Turkish people, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Rsk6400 (talk) 05:04, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Lawangi Chilli (Series) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Lawangi Chilli (Series). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources, it needs more sources to establish notability and doesn't say much about the series itself – see MOS:TV for information that we usually include in articles about TV series. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · email · global) 03:36, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Lawangi Chilli

[edit]

Hello Lui Editor,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username ClaudineChionh, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Lawangi Chilli, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Lavangi Mirchi. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|ClaudineChionh}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Your contributed article, Hey Man Bawre

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Hey Man Bawre. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Sukhachya Sarini He Man Baware. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Sukhachya Sarini He Man Baware. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. CycloneYoris talk! 04:24, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@ClaudineChionh: Lui Editor (talk) 04:42, 28 June 2025 (UTC), what's the ways to solve that? and restoring these pages[reply]

@Lui Editor, a couple of us have requested deletion of articles that you created because they duplicated existing articles. If you have anything new to add on those topics, you should work on the existing articles, not create new ones. In any case, make sure that you cite your sources whenever you add new information. WHY my 4 pages rom SQSEASON3 got drated? Lui Editor (talk) 02:03, 11 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve stated the reasons above. For example, Draft:Lee Seo-hwan is probably an unattributed translation, is filled with red links/broken templates that don’t exist, and is just a long promotional list of that actor’s appearances with little citations. GoldRomean (talk) 02:05, 11 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

how to publish it Lee Seo-hwan Lui Editor (talk) 02:15, 11 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think you should publish it yet. It is still very promotional and lacks sources. (And, if not removed, the appearances section should have films in italics, not <<>>, per the manual of style.) GoldRomean (talk) 02:17, 11 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

why this was planned to be deleted?, it has some inappropriate things there or some misinformations? Lui Editor (talk) 20:33, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, if you would like to contribute to the deletion discussion, you need to do so at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Karel Malík, not here. Also, if you want editors who post on your talk page to see your reply, you need to "ping" them by writing a link to their user name in the manner indicated in the comment above. Unattributed translations

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from de:Irene Rodrian to Irene Rodrian. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 18:55, 3 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lui Editor! You've created new translations of pages from other Wikipedias at Andrey Khoroshev and Roland Schäfer without providing attribution. Please make sure to read Significa liberdade's message above this one — you must provide attribution in your edit summary whenever you add content translated from another language's edition of Wikipedia. If you have any questions about this, please just let me know. Thanks. MCE89 (talk) 00:40, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, i will. Lui Editor (talk) 00:47, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I'd also like to understand your process for translating pages. You've created translations from a large number of languages, including Korean, German, Russian, Czech, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese and Italian. Do you speak any of these languages, and are you doing anything to review the accuracy of your translations? Per WP:MACHINETRANSLATION, unedited machine translations should generally not be used to create new articles. I'd recommend that you stick to translating pages in languages that you speak, and that you take more time to review and clean up your creations. For instance, Andrey Khoroshev contains a number of disambiguation links, non-existent templates and categories, and other formatting issues carried over from the Russian-language page. MCE89 (talk) 01:01, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
no, but using google translator to finish the Deaths in 2026 page's pages that aren't existed yet, so what's the point or wrong with that? Lui Editor (talk) 01:07, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia consensus is that an unedited machine translation is worse than having no article at all. This is because if you don't have at least some knowledge of the language it's impossible for you to check that Google Translate has accurately translated the content. Many articles on other languages' editions of Wikipedia also don't meet our standards for verifiability and are written based on a different manual of style, as well as containing things like different templates that need to be repaired. This means that creating translations from other Wikipedias needs to involve careful review and clean-up — you can't just put pages into Google Translate and paste their raw output into a new article at the pace you're currently working at. MCE89 (talk) 01:18, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
yeah, i sometimes fix issues about the cite web templates or something. Lui Editor (talk) 01:22, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate that you've taken a little more time to clean up the non-existent templates in your most recent translations, but you've created another three translated articles without providing attribution (Valery Fyodorovich Plotnikov, Huang Dongbi and Bohdan Chufus). It's really important that you remember to do this, as providing attribution in an edit summary whenever you translate content from another Wikipedia is required under Wikipedia's licensing terms to give credit to the original authors. If you forget to give attribution in your initial edit summary, you can always do so retroactively by following the instructions at WP:RIA. Again, I'd also strongly recommend that you stick to translating articles in languages that you have some familiarity with, and that you don't rely solely on Google Translate. MCE89 (talk) 10:33, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry for dropping the same template as above. Adding the link at the bottom of the page is unorthodox and confusing. Please add attribution in edit summary as above in the future. Thanks. – robertsky (talk) 01:35, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

  • A URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters contains an invalid URL. Please edit the article to add the valid URL. (Fix | Ask for help)

Hi there. I've nominated Jeon Jun-ho (pitcher) and Andrey Khoroshev for speedy deletion. The state of these new articles really isn't acceptable for new Wikipedia pages. If you wish to create drafts, you can do so using your sandbox. Articles should then be tweaked, properly formatted and referenced before creation so it's not left to other users to tidy up a large mess. If you wish to contest these deletions, you can do so and state your reasons. Thanks Jkaharper (talk) 01:10, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Jeon Jun-ho (pitcher) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Jeon Jun-ho (pitcher). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it has too many problems of language or grammar and it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 05:06, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

January 2026

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Mario Jacquet when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Unattributed translations

[edit]

Hi Lui Editor. I see that you've created four more unattributed translations at Alfonso Castellanos, Alberto Benzoni, Mario Rigutti and Draft:Mario Jacquet. You've now received at least three warnings about not providing attribution for your translations. You must provide attribution in your edit summary whenever you translate content from another language's edition of Wikipedia, as this is a requirement of Wikipedia's licensing terms. Can you please repair the attribution on those four pages, and make sure to provide attribution in your edit summaries in future? If you have any questions about how to do so, just let me know. MCE89 (talk) 13:24, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Alright. Lui Editor (talk) 20:20, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
You've just created another unattributed translation at Hermann Peter Piwitt, and you haven't repaired the attribution on any of those four pages. Please fix the attribution on those articles before you edit further. If you continue creating unreviewed, unattributed machine translations I am concerned that you are at risk of being blocked from editing. Please slow down and listen to the concerns that I and multiple other editors have raised about the pages you are creating. MCE89 (talk) 07:48, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
this too will result in block? Lui Editor (talk) 20:37, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I’m not an administrator, but you’ve received five reminders that you need to provide attribution for translations, in addition to warnings about other issues with your machine translations. You’re creating a significant amount of work for other editors who need to review your pages and repair things like attribution and broken templates. If you continue ignoring these warnings and creating unattributed, unreviewed machine translations, an administrator may eventually decide that a block is necessary. MCE89 (talk) 21:46, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
you're not admin, but how long time blocked? Lui Editor (talk) 09:45, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Blocks are preventative, not punitive, so an administrator would apply whatever length and type of block they felt was necessary to prevent further disruption. I wouldn’t worry about how long a hypothetical block might be though - the important thing is to avoid being blocked in the first place, which means you need to listen to the warnings you’ve been given and stop creating unattributed machine translations.
