Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Moscow Polytechnic University when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Specifying |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= needs to be defined in the template in order to work. You can look at the documentation for the template being used, but it is also helpful to use the preview button before saving an edit; this helps find any errors that have been made and ensures that the values added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is highly recommended that editors use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions of if I can help explain further, please let me know! You can also contact the help desk for assistance.

Your edits are becoming disruptive. You have been warned multiple times about the need to use preview to check your edits, yet you continue to introduce unknown parameters into articles. You did this again at Allameh Tabataba'i University when you modified the page. Please understand that while you may not find these edits a problem, they do cause issues for those attempting to clean up pages and prevent vandalism. Please respond to this message and acknowledge that you better monitor your edits moving forward. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 04:19, 29 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hi I apologize, I will be more careful, I was not aware even of that, so instead of image_caption I had to write only caption, sorry for that! Rakoon (talk) 06:26, 29 August 2026 (UTC)
Unattributed translations
[edit]
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from ru:Болдырев, Михаил Фёдорович to Mikhail Boldyrev. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution.
It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Josey Wales Parley 19:44, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- My apologies, I didn't mean for this to transcribe on to your talk page as you had already mentioned Russian Wikipedia in your creation edit summary Josey Wales Parley 21:27, 18 August 2026 (UTC)

Copyright tags on MSU Faculty of Political Science
[edit]Hi @Rakoon: How goes it. I reviewed the MSU Faculty of Political Science at part of the WP:NPP sprint. I notice you translated article from the ru: wikipedia, so you need to put in a Template:Translated page in per WP:TFOLWP. Can you please put that in. Thanks. scope_creepTalk 16:51, 2 September 2026 (UTC)

Hi Rakoon, Just wanted to let you know that the C-Class assessment wasn’t accurate. I've changed it to Stub-Class and added the appropriate {{NorthKorea-mil-bio-stub}}` and {{BLP sources}} tags. I also noticed the old AfD tag had been removed, so I restored it. AriuCH (talk) 20:11, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
