David William Snow (30a de septembro 1924 – 4a de februaro 2009) estis fama angla ornitologo naskiĝinta en Windermere, Kumbrio.

Kariero kaj persona vivo

Li studis ĉe Eton kaj poste klasikajn studojn ĉe New College, Oksfordo sed ĝi iĝis armeano en mararmeo aprile de 1943 kaj servis ĝis fino de la Dua Mondmilito, kaj poste li pasis unu jaron navige el Fora Oriento al Aŭstralio. En 1946 li revenis al Oksfordo kaj ŝanĝis el klasika al studo de zoologio, pri kio atingis doktorgradon en 1953.^[1][2]

En 1958, David edziĝis al Barbara Kathleen Whitaker, kiu estis zorgisto de la insulo Lundy. Barbara Snow estis ankaŭ fama ornitologino kaj geologo. El 1957 al 1961 la ge-Snow laboris por la New York Zoological Society ĉe la societa centro en Trinidado.
