Syncopy Films Inc. adalah rumah produksi film yang berpusat di London, Inggris. Perusahaan ini didirikan oleh sutradara film, penulis naskah, dan produser Christopher Nolan dan istrinya, Emma Thomas. Nama Syncopy Films diambil dari "syncope", istilah kedokteran untuk menyebut pingsan atau kehilangan kesadaran.[1]
Sejarah
[sunting | sunting sumber]Pada tahun 2005, Christopher Nolan bekerja sama dengan Legendary Pictures untuk memproduksi Batman Begins (2005), The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), Inception (2010), dan The Dark Knight Rises (2012) untuk Warner Bros. Pictures. Film terbaru Syncopy adalah Man of Steel (2013) yang disutradarai Zack Snyder.
Nolan kemudian menyutradarai film terbarunya, Interstellar (2014), yang diproduksi Paramount dan Warner Bros., dan dirilis pada tanggal 7 November 2014. Paramount menangani distribusi Interstellar di Amerika Serikat, sedangkan Warner Bros. menangani distribusi di Britania Raya dan seluruh dunia.
