The BYD Song Ultra EV (Chinese: 比亚迪宋Ultra EV) is an upcoming battery electric mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by BYD Auto. It shares most of its body with the slightly smaller Song L DM-i, but is built on a battery-electric platform. It is part of the BYD Song series under the 'Dynasty Series' product lineup.[1]
Overview
[edit]The Song Ultra EV was first revealed through MIIT filings on January 8, 2026. It is shown to use the body of the Song L DM-i but with a sleeker front fascia, updated taillights and extended bumpers.
It has a 362 hp (270 kW; 367 PS) rear-wheel drive motor and a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).[1]
